Successful Organization of Satellite-to-ground Data Transmission Link Docking Test for Ocean Salinity Detection Satellite
Recently, National Satellite Ocean
Application Service successfully organized a satellite-to-ground data
transmission link docking test for ocean salinity detection satellite at Hainan
Ocean Satellite Ground Receiving Station (Lingshui Station). Participating
research units in the test included Major Special Engineering Center of the
State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the
Remote Sensing General Department of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace
Science and Technology Corporation, Xi'an Branch of the Fifth Academy of China
Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Shaanxi Aerospace Technology
Application Research Institute Co., Ltd, and TongFang Saiweixun Information
Technology Co., Ltd., etc.
This test was necessary to ensure
the compatibility and correctness of the satellite-to-ground link before the
launch of the ocean salinity detection satellite. The test was divided into
wired and wireless parts. The wired docking test was conducted using the
12-meter antenna and the data receiving room of Hainan Ocean Satellite Ground
Receiving Station, while the wireless docking test was conducted at the top of
Bengtou Ling Mountain in Wenluo Town, Lingshui County, and the receiving room.
The test contents included: working frequency check, spectrum check, data
format compatibility check, wired symbol error rate check, coding gain test,
antenna polarimetric rotation consistency check, capture capability check ,wireless
symbol error rate check, etc.
